For yet another year, the Energean Group participated in the Kavala Expo, which celebrated its 31st anniversary this year.
At the centre of attention is EnEarth's carbon dioxide (CO2) storage project, being developed in Prinos. The company’s representatives had the opportunity to present to our stakeholders from the Kavala region and the Eastern Macedonia & Thrace region, as well as local citizens.
During the exhibition’s opening, a new explanatory video was presented for the first time to the public. It showcases an investment exceeding 1 billion euros, which, when fully developed, will be capable of storing amounts equivalent to 25% of the annual CO2 emissions from the domestic heavy industry, significantly contributing to the fight against the consequences of climate change, such as global warming.
