EnEarth proudly participated in the International Energy Forum 2025 (IEF25) in Oslo (19–20 November 2025), the flagship annual event organised by Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) that brings together global leaders across the energy value chain. This year’s theme — “Where true energy insiders connect” — underscored the forum’s role as a central platform for industry insight, innovation, and strategic collaboration. IEF25 featured dedicated sessions on CCUS, hydrogen, offshore wind, energy systems and digitalisation, welcoming more than 1,000 international participants and senior executives from major global energy companies.
During the CCUS Session on 19 November, our Commercial Lead, Dr. Pantelis Vogiatzis, presented the Prinos CO₂ Storage Project — Greece’s first large-scale offshore CO₂ storage facility and a designated Project of Common Interest (PCI) in the European Union. His presentation highlighted Prinos as the sole project in the Mediterranean that has been awarded an environmental permit, the only carbon storage option in the Eastern Mediterranean to operate before 2030 and uniquely positioned to accelerate regional decarbonisation.
Through this contribution, EnEarth reaffirmed the strategic role of Prinos CO₂ Storage as a cornerstone for industrial decarbonisation in the wider Mediterranean, offering a reliable, scalable and EU-aligned storage solution.
Dr. Vogiatzis emphasised that Prinos is emerging as an essential component of the European CO₂ value chain by enabling:
Regional industrial transformation,
Cross-border cooperation,
Compliance with emerging EU climate requirements under the Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA), and
The development of a competitive CO₂ storage market in the Eastern Mediterranean
