EnEarth S.A. at the ZEP Projects Network 2025

We are proud to have showcased the Prinos CO₂ Storage Facility at this year’s Zero Emissions Platform (ZEP) Projects Network Forum, held in Bologna on 24–25 June — an event that brought together the most strategic carbon management projects across Europe.

Represented by our CCS Commercial Lead, Dr. Pantelis Vogiatzis, EnEarth presented the substantial progress and high maturity of the Prinos CO₂ Storage project — the only carbon storage hub in Greece and the wider Eastern Mediterranean.

Recognised by the European Commission as one of the most important carbon storage initiatives in the EU, Prinos represents a strategic turning point for Southern Europe, offering a scalable, permanent CO₂ storage solution that can unlock decarbonisation for Greek and regional emitters.

Prinos CO2 Storage requires an investment of more than 1 billion euros. The European Commision has approved c.150 million euros State Aid under the Recovery and Resilience Facility and also granted c.120 million euros under the Connecting Europe Facility. When fully operational by 2030, the Prinos CO2 Storage will be able to store c.3 million tones of CO2 annually.

We thank the ZEP Secretariat and our fellow participants for the inspiring exchanges and look forward to continued collaboration in shaping Europe’s net-zero future.
