It was a great honour for EnEarth to host the Monitoring Committee established by the Hellenic Hydrocarbons and Energy Resources Management Company (HEREMA). The Committee visited our onshore facilities in Nea Karvali, Kavala, and was welcomed by Energean’s Prinos Asset Manager and Group HSE Director, Vassilis Tsetoglou, and EnEarth’s Head of Carbon Storage, Nikolas Rigas. Nikolaw highlighted the importance of our flagship Prinos CO₂ 1-billion-euro investment for climate action and hard-to-abate industries.
Katerina Sardi, EnEarth’s Managing Director in Greece, delivered an overview of the project and briefed the Committee on the latest developments. In addition, our colleagues Giorgos Protopapas, Stathis Skarvelas, Paschalia Kiomourtzi, Panos Karatokis, and Giannis Karagiannis presented key aspects of the project related to facilities, drilling, subsurface studies, and HSE matters.

Dr. Efthimios Tartaras, Head of Geoscience at HEREMA and Organisational Secretary of the Committee.
The Committee was established as a HEREMA initiative to provide local communities with transparent and reliable information from distinguished scientists and professors, representatives of national scientific bodies, and institutional representatives of local authorities
